XBOX 360 Project Natal Goes Bust

Not a day goes by that I'm less than bemused by the high hopes and dreams of a huge number of Xbox fans likening their upcoming accessory to a killer application resulting in the demise of both PS3 and the Wii.

Truth be told, there are interesting developments in the game development side of this project (milo to be specific) but how late in the lifespan of the system is this lauch? Can it really be anything but a stop gap for the upcoming next generation of systems? I'm betting a 32X style flop.

I highly doubt the concept will last beyond 6 months though I do highly anticipate numerous delays to Milo in order to keep many Natal owners at arms distance from eBay.

PSP Go redesign UMD?

PSP Go is a universal flop, higher price and less functionality. Looking at the trends of the PS3 it'll be more likely backwards compatibility will be restored to the BC less PS3 models than UMD returned to the PSP Go. It's a matter of principle and I'll bet the PSP2 is announced before anything regarding this rumour is substantiated.

Wii Dominance

Recent appearances from Nintendo PR gurus have suggested the system is on the downhill slope. The majority of households with the Wii suggest they never play them. Well I'm expecting big things from Nintendo this year and with all the money saved up they're at free reign to throw interesting and innovative experiences out here along with bolstering their hardcore gamer selection with strong showings already with No More Heroes 2 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I expect any prediction of 360 or PS3 dominance should be put on the back burner again until 2011!
